Keeping a Fortune 500 Company like Verizon on top of the business world requires top-notch Research & Development facilities,
especially in an industry based on the latest in high-tech advances. When Verizon began construction on their newest Technology
Center in Waltham, Massachusetts, back in the spring of 2010, there was no question who would be called to help solve a vexing
problem with the gas service in the facility - it could only be the experienced Service Department at ETTER Engineering!
When local boiler contractor Frank I. Rounds ran into a problem with the gas service in the Verizon building, they contacted
ETTER Engineering. After spending time on the phone with an engineer, it was determined a site visit was appropriate to diagnose
a regulator lockup issue. According to Frank I. Rounds Project Manager Jim O'Rourke, "While performing a startup at a Verizon
facility on two industrial gas fired boilers, we were having issues with lockup pressures on our gas trains, a problem which
ETTER's engineers solved by installing the Model #243 gas regulators in the vertical piping further away from the safety shut
off valves."
With over 100 years of combustion experience on-staff, there was no doubt ETTER Engineering was the right company for the job.
A potentially major problem for Verizon and Frank I. Rounds was quickly and easily rectified once ETTER's ace Service Team
arrived on site!
