Low Pressure Proportion Mixers are used to mix air and any commercially available fuel gas at low pressure and deliver the mixture under pressure to open or sealed premix type gas burners. (2 oz. to 4 psi air and 4″ w.c. to 16 oz gas.)
The single-valve control provided by the LP Mixer eliminates the need for the operator to regulate both the gas and air ratios as the heat requirements change. Efficiency losses are inevitable when both the gas and air valves on a burner have to be adjusted manually, and even a slight excess in air or gas can cause serious losses in efficiency and extend the length of your heat-up time. When these losses are eliminated by a Series LP Mixer, the investment in equipment is soon repaid in fuel savings. LP mixers can also be used with compressed with the help of an Eclipse Airjector.
